This single family high-end house sits on a crest, and it is distributed in two main wings that occupy two sides of the crest. Extensive garden roofs allow a full integration between the architecture and surrounding nature. In defiance of the established practice of building residential building only with wood, the entire first floor of the house has been designed as a partially subterranean concrete box topped with concrete slab. Concrete generated flexibility and alleviated the complexity of water proofing details at the roof garden areas. Other features include a lap pool infinity edge and site walls on piles.
